ACHIEVEMENTS
Our Students have excelled in various Competition and Sports activities.

YEAR 2012-13

On 21st January 2013, Tr. Sharon Barretto worked as a Resource person for workshop on “Core Competencies and Minimum Level of Learning in Mathematics subject”.
At Borimoll Sports Complex. Borimol Quepem Goa.

On 22nd January 2013, Tr. Yugal Sawant (Tr. Shamika s. Parab) worked as a Resource person for workshop on “Core Competencies and Minimum Level of Learning in Science Subject” at Borimol Sports Complex ,Borimol Quepem-Goa.

On 3rd February 2013 on Sunday , 29 students from Holy Cross Institute , Quepem from standard VII to IX appeared for “Goa Talent Search Examination 2013” held in Guardian Angel High School, Curchorem. Sir Sanjay Gaonkar and Tr. Priyanka Bhoite accompanied them for the same.

YEAR 2010 - 11

On 15th August 2010 our students had participated in The "Interschool patriotic song competition at Quepem Municipal Garden organized by Navyug Vikas Manch, Quepem and secured the 1st Prize.
On 14th August 2010 Mast. Leslie Castanha of Std IX- A secured the 1st Prize for wealth out waste Competition organized by District Level Scout Guide at Sarvodaya High School Sanvordem.
On 28th August 2010, Our students secured consolation prize at the "Interschool patriotic Singing Competition" organized by "Yuva De Goa'' at Ravindra Bhavan Margao- Goa.
On 2nd September 2010, Our Chairman Shri Devendra Bale and our Senior teacher Mrs.Maria Yvette D'Silva were the recipients of the Vocational awards from The Rotary Club of Curchorem.
Miss Anisha Dessai of Std VII -B is the recipient of the Samraat Student of the Year 2010 -11.
On 19th September 2010, Mast. Vinito Dias and Mast. Cliff Mascarenhas secured the 2nd and 3rd prize respectively for the drawing and painting organized by Ganesh or Sarvagani Ganesh Utsav Quepem.
On 5th And 6th Oct 2010, Miss Madhavi Madgaonker secured 1st prize in Light music(Senior category), Miss Vidhyabharti Sharma secured 3rd prize in Light music(Senior category),Miss Tanvi Sukthanker secured 3rd prize in Harmonium solo(Junior category),Mast. Quentin Mascarenhas secured 2nd prize in Guide Solo (Senior category) organized by Directorate of Art & Culture at Ravindra Bhavan Margao - Goa.

On 9th July 2011, Miss Wilma Fernandes (S.S.C. Batch 2010 -11) was felicitated by the Ponda School Association for getting the highest marks in Konkani (94/100). The Guiding Subject Teacher – Mrs Simantini Shirwaiker.
On 11thAugust 2011, our students participated in Badminton Boys U – 14 years organized by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs in Quepem Taluka and secured the 2nd place. The names of the Participants were:

On 15th August 2011, our students participated in the Interschool Patriotic singing Competition organized by Navyug Vikas Manch, Quepem – Goa and secured the 1st Place. The Guiding music teacher – Mr. Sanjay Gaonkar.

Miss Wilma Fernandes is the recipient of the Quadros Family Scholarship of Rs 1000/- (Thomas Stephens Konknni Kendr) for securing the second highest marks in Konkani (94/100) at the Board Examination 2010-2011. The Guiding Subject Teacher – Mrs Simantini Shirwaiker.
On 20^th and 21^st September 2011, our students participated for the District Level Swimming & Daving Competition Boys U – 14 years organized by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs in the Quepem Taluka and secured the following prizes.

The names of the Participants were:

1.       Sanmesh Gaunker – Second place for 50 mts free,22mts free and Third place for 50mts back.

2.       Kushal Maykar- First Place for 100mts free, 200mts free and 50mts back.

3.       Mario Carvalho – Third Place for 100mts free.

The Guiding Teacher- Mr. Anant Narvekar and Mr Prakash Raut Desai.

YEAR 2009 -10

Mast. Baptis Rebello of Std IX - B was the recipient of the Samraat Student of the Year 2009-2010.

YEAR 2008 - 09

Sports: On 26th January 2008 Mast. Mahesh Borkar of Std IX - B secured 3rd Prize at the All Goa Cross Country Race (under 18 - Junior Category) organized by Youth Club, Curchorem Quepem.
On 27th and 28th January 2008 Mast. Shivanand Katageri of Std VII A secured the 1st Prize in 200mts running race and 2nd Prize in 100mts running race held at Pedda ground Mapusa - Goa. Tr. Anant Narvekar was the Tr - in Charge.
On 13th December 2008 eight students participated at the Dance Competition organized by P.S. A. and secured the second Prize. Miss Aditi R. Kundaiker was the Tr -in Charge.
